After raising her kittens who have already found their forever home, Lissie is now looking for her happy ending too. If you are looking for a cute and affectionate companion with a fun personality Lissie would certainly be the perfect choice.
When Lissie came to us, she had a very persistent rodent ulcer on her mouth. This has now been treated, and she is no longer on medication, but new owners should be aware that this may flare up in times of stress.
She has also been diagnosed with Feline asthma. This is currently very very mild, and whilst she has previously been on a course of steroids to treat this, she is now managing well without any medication. This is however, a lifelong condition, and she may experience flare ups in the future which will require further treatment.
If you can offer Lissie her perfect home, please send an application through our website www.fawrescue.co.uk

As of 19th May 2022: Nottingham is currently within a Avian Flu protection and surveillance zone.
As most of our volunteers work in veterinary practice we are struggling to assess and rehab critical/young birds. A lot of veterinary practices can only offer end of life care due to the risk to human health and pet birds.
We are sorry and saddened for the inability to help in a lot of cases, we will try to continue to advise but it is likely we will refer cases onwards to other rescues.
We will update if and when the situation changes.
Thank you for understanding,
Team FAW
