Meet Ruda! Estimated to be at least 13 years old, she came to us after a long time on the streets.

Since moving indoors she shows absolutely no signs of being interested in going out again and prefers to spend her time between a bed in front of the radiator and at her food bowl!

Shes a friendly girl with an adorable crackly meow, which you will hear every time its time for food!

After Ruda's recent vet visit it was determined that she is blind and deaf, she has arthritis, renal disease and is gradually deteriorating.

Whilst she seems happy enough in herself, this was not the news we wanted to hear. Ruda will remain under FAWR as a long term foster.

To try and keep Ruda as healthy and comfortable as possible during the time she has left, she needs to have a renal diet. She is quite a fussy old lady and will only eat Royal Canin renal food. She prefers fish but will also eat chicken flavour.

If anyone would like to donate some food for this lovely old lady please message us for delivery address.

BEAR

NEVILLE

RUDA

Bear is a gentle old soul with big tomcat cheeks and a tiny, raspy meow. Once a long-term stray, he’s now soaking up all the love in foster care. Despite having stage 3 kidney disease, Bear’s still full of purrs and head bumps.

He’s on a renal diet (with the occasional pouch or lickelix treat when he’s feeling picky!) and adores fresh coo

He’s on a renal diet (with the occasional pouch or lickelix treat when he’s feeling picky!) and adores fresh cooked chicken. Neutering isn’t safe for him, but he’s a perfect gentleman, no spraying, no tomcat whiff, just cuddles.

Bear’s time may be limited, but his heart is wide open. He’s a quiet joy to have around.

NEVILLE

Neville is a quiet little mystery with a soft spot for feline friends. He’s recently started chemo and steroids for lymphoma, but he’s handling it like a champ.

Shy with humans, Neville saves his sparkle for midnight zoomies and bonding with the resident cat. He’s a gentle presence, but full of heart.

Hello!

Please remember, we are an entirely volunteer-led team. We do this in our spare time, alongside having full time jobs, families, and lives.

Please be patient and kind.

We are doing our best at a time when demand hugely supersedes capacity.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
