Long Term Fosters

BEAR

NEVILLE

NEVILLE

Bear is a gentle old soul with the biggest tomcat cheeks and the tiniest, raspiest meow. After years living as a long‑term stray, he’s finally safe in his forever‑foster home, spending his days lounging in sunny spots and pottering around his enclosed garden like the king he is.

Despite having stage 3 kidney disease, Bear is still full of purrs, head bumps, and quiet affection. He’s on a renal diet (with the occasional pouch or lickelix when he’s feeling picky) and absolutely adores fresh cooked chicken. Neutering isn’t safe for him, but he’s a perfect gentleman, no spraying, no tomcat scent, just cuddles and calm company.

Bear’s time may be limited, but his heart is wide open. He is a peaceful, comforting presence, a joy to care for, and a reminder of how deeply an old boy can love once he finally feels safe.

With humans, Neville is very shy. He spends much of the day hiding and startles easily with new sounds or visitors. Thanks to his beloved Feliway, he’s slowly relaxing around his foster mum, though he’s still too nervous for strokes. He may get there in his own time.

With cats, however, Neville completely transforms. He adores resident cat Alan and welcomes every new foster, especially the playful ones. Feline friends are his comfort and confidence.

Neville’s favourite things include sun spots, radiators, and playing with every toy he can find. At night, he reveals his silly side with enthusiastic zoomies.

His future is uncertain, but right now he is safe, warm, well-fed, and deeply loved, exactly what he deserves.

A black cat with bright eyes and its tongue slightly out.

PUMPKIN

PUMPKIN

Pumpkin is a soft‑natured senior lady of around 13, finally enjoying comfort after many years living as a stray. When she first came into rescue she was in heartbreaking condition, but with time, care, and a warm bed, she has blossomed into the sweetest, sleepiest companion.

Pumpkin lives with several age‑related conditions; renal disease managed with a specialist diet, arthritis that requires daily pain relief, and a cyst that needs occasional draining. She is also deaf, which only adds to her serene, unbothered charm. Despite everything she has been through, she remains gentle, affectionate, and endlessly grateful for a safe place to rest.

Pumpkin has survived so much. Now she deserves to spend the rest of her life cherished, comfortable, and adored.

Hello!

Please remember, we are an entirely volunteer-led team. We do this in our spare time, alongside having full time jobs, families, and lives.

Please be patient and kind.

We are doing our best at a time when demand hugely supersedes capacity.

Thank you for your ongoing support!
